Berner supports social projects
The Felix baby emergency ambulance brings our smallest safely to their destination
With a great deal of commitment, Berner Torantriebe promotes social projects that are close to our hearts. That is why the Felix emergency ambulance of the Björn Steiger Foundation is an important project that we are particularly happy to support.
It enables premature babies to be safely cared for and brought to their destination in an emergency ambulance specially equipped for their needs "as though they were on clouds". The use of the Felix baby emergency ambulance helps to improve emergency care for premature babies and to save lives through quiet and vibration-free transport. You can find more information about the Felix emergency ambulance here.
The “Retten macht Schule” initiative - everyone can help
The Björn Steiger Foundation launched the "Retten macht Schule” initiative back in 2009. Its goal is to train all students from seventh grade onwards in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and amateur defibrillation. In order to make this possible, schools are provided with dummies that are specially developed for this purpose as well as a manual and a training DVD free of charge.
We have been supporting this project since the beginning of 2018. You can find more information about the "Retten macht Schule” initiative here.
